Privacy and terms
Vespryx is a browser extension that draws on charts. It runs no server of its own, has no analytics, and there is no account to create here. That makes this document short, and the short version is the whole version.
Privacy policy
What Vespryx collects about you
Nothing. There is no telemetry, no analytics script, no error reporter, no advertising identifier and no third-party SDK of any kind in the extension. The extension has no runtime dependencies at all, so there is no bundled code that could collect something without our knowing.
What it reads on your machine
-
Your Vespryx session tokens. When you have a tab open on
traderdaddy.proand are signed in, the extension reads the access and refresh tokens the site has already stored in that tab, so it can request your own data with your own credentials. These are kept in the browser's own extension storage on your machine and are sent only toapi.traderdaddy.pro. There is no API key to create or paste. - Your settings. Which layers are on, the panel size, the chosen expiry and similar preferences, stored in Chrome's synced extension storage so they follow your browser profile.
- The identifiers of drawings it created. So that removing them deletes only its own lines and never yours.
- The symbol on the chart in front of you, in order to fetch that symbol's option chain. It is used for the request and not stored.
Where data goes
To api.traderdaddy.pro and nowhere else. The extension makes no
request to any other host. Optionally, if you run the desktop bridge yourself,
it also talks to 127.0.0.1:7777 — a server on your own machine
that you started, which never leaves it.
What it can see, and what it cannot do
The extension runs content scripts on TradingView, on Fidelity option chain
pages, and on the pages where it turns a $TICKER mention into a
badge — X, Reddit, StockTwits, Substack, Yahoo Finance, Seeking Alpha,
MarketWatch, CNBC, Benzinga, Investing.com and Google News. On those pages it
reads what it needs to place its own elements and nothing else. It reads no
positions, no balances and no order history, and it holds no broker
connection, so it cannot place, modify or cancel a trade.
Selling or sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade or share your data with anyone. There is no category of third party to disclose, because there are no third parties.
Deleting it
Uninstalling the extension removes everything it stored on your machine. Your Vespryx account is separate; to close that, contact support@vespryx.com.
Children
Vespryx is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the extension's store listing is updated in the same release.
Terms of use
Not investment advice
Vespryx is a data-visualisation tool. It is not a broker, an investment adviser, or a signal service. It describes what the option chain implies about a chart; it does not recommend that you buy or sell anything, and nothing it draws or writes is a recommendation, solicitation or offer. Options involve substantial risk and are not suitable for every investor. Dealer positioning changes intraday, levels move as the chain moves, and how price behaved at a level in the past does not predict how it will behave next. Every trade you place is your decision and your responsibility.
The data
Levels are computed from option chain data supplied by third parties. It can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and the extension states the age of the chain it drew from rather than implying it is live. We make no warranty that any figure is accurate, current or fit for any purpose.
Your account
The free layer needs no account. Vespryx Pro is billed as shown at checkout, renews until you cancel, and can be cancelled at any time; cancelling stops the next renewal and the free layer keeps working. Do not share your login: the extension rides that session, so anyone holding it holds your subscription.
Acceptable use
Do not resell, redistribute or republish the data Vespryx surfaces, and do not try to extract it in bulk. Use of the third-party sites Vespryx draws on remains subject to those sites' own terms.
Liability
Vespryx is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
The extension's core modules are published under the MIT licence, whose terms govern that code.
