Overlays

Each layer is one call against your session. Turn off what you do not read.

Dealer walls Support, resistance, the max-gamma pin and the gamma flip, drawn as real chart objects with open interest written on each line. GET /gex/:symbol Today's big prints Adds today's large option trades to the chart. A print at a strike that already has a wall is written onto that wall's label; one with no standing interest behind it gets its own marker, capped at two. GET /flow/ticker/:ticker Regime panel The colour legend pinned to the top right of the chart: what each colour means, which expiries the data covers, and how old the chain is. GET /gex/:symbol → interpretation Expected-move cone The ATM straddle band to expiry: is the level even reachable today. Off by default, and it needs a Vespryx session. Wall rendering

How much of the chart the levels are allowed to take, and what each label says.

Levels drawn Four by default. Past about four the chart stops being a read and becomes a wall of colour. Levels are dropped below this number only when their labels physically cannot fit. Minimum level strength The apex score, 0 to 100: open interest at the strike weighted by how near it is to spot. The chart draws only levels that clear the floor. Needs a Vespryx session, otherwise there are no scores to compare and the filter is skipped. Level naming Words name the level (RESISTANCE 40k OI). Ranked names it by side and strength (C1 40k OI), which is shorter and says both which side of spot it is on and that it is the strongest wall there. Wall thickness How far the glow blooms out, and what makes a busy chart heavy. Which levels bloom is about distance, not rank: the nearest level above price, the nearest below, and the pin. Strength shows in how solid a line is, not how wide. A ceiling only, so crowded strikes still draw narrower than you ask.

Level text colour What the words written on each line are drawn in. Automatic takes the chart’s own foreground, which is what keeps them readable sitting inside the glow. One setting for all of them: the wall labels, the print chips and the expected-move lines, so they cannot end up in three different colours.

Plain-English level labels Writes RESISTANCE 52k OI instead of 52k OI. Turn off once you read the colours without thinking. Regime panel size The panel starts over the top right of the chart, so its size is a trade against the candles behind it. Small keeps the numbers and shrinks the prose; large is for a shared screen or a screenshot. Drag its title bar to move it anywhere on the chart, drag the bottom right corner to resize, and double-click either one to put it back. Expiration Every wall is computed across a set of expiries, and the set differs per symbol. Pick a single date to see that expiry alone. open a chart first Map preset Full uses the default view. GEX only removes the apex overlay. Minimal draws two levels. Custom applies the strength floor and level cap you set.

Up to three prices you want drawn as dashed lines on the chart. Synced across devices. Leave blank to skip.

Switching walls off never deletes anything, because a deleted drawing cannot be recovered. This button removes only drawings this extension marked as its own; your trendlines are left exactly where they are, even the ones that look like ours.

Reading a chart somewhere this extension cannot paint? The Vespryx Overlay By TraderMatrix indicator draws the same levels from one line you paste. The Vespryx popup copies that line for you, and /td vespryx in Discord produces the same one with no extension involved at all.

Vespryx outside the chart. Each switch reaches the pages already open as you flip it.

Cashtag badges Turns every $TICKER into a live badge with a flow popover, on 12 sites including X, Reddit, StockTwits and Substack. Floating HUD on TradingView quote + range + MACD The quote, range bars and MACD/ADX in a floating panel. The walls and the regime panel now cover most of what it showed, and it sits on top of them, so switching it off is the common choice.

Flow alerts

A Chrome notification when a new high-score unusual print lands on a ticker you follow. Polled every five minutes, in your browser, against your own session. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Enable flow alerts Off by default. The popup's flow feed is always there without it.

Tickers Space or comma separated · 0 saved

Sync pulls your account watchlist into the box. Copy puts it on the clipboard as a comma-separated list: in TradingView, watchlist menu (•••) → Import list → paste. This list is also what Phone & desktop app repaints, so the two features never disagree about which names you follow.

Your phone and the TradingView desktop app

Both work. Neither needs anything installed on it.

TradingView saves drawings to your account, not to your computer. Anything Vespryx paints in Chrome is therefore already on the phone app and the desktop app, on the same layout. A Chrome extension cannot run inside those apps, and nothing can, because they are separate programs. So Vespryx makes this machine the painter and lets every other device be a viewer.

Keep tickers dressed

Paints your saved tickers here, on a schedule, so the other devices find them ready.

PAINTING NOW nothing saved yet It paints the Tickers box in Flow alerts, so the two features never disagree about which names you follow.

Keep them painted Runs in a hidden background tab that closes itself, so the chart you are looking at is never moved. Skipped outside 04:00–20:00 ET on weekdays, because dealer positioning barely moves overnight. How often Each run reopens a tab and walks every ticker, so this costs roughly a few seconds per ticker. Hourly is plenty for open interest, which is published once a day and only really moves when the chain does. The three short settings are for a session you are actively trading, where spot has moved enough that the nearest wall each side has changed. They are a ceiling, not a promise: a walk that is still going when the next tick arrives means that tick is skipped rather than a second tab being opened, so a long watchlist on 1 minute simply repaints back to back.

Painting now saves your settings first (so tickers typed above are included), and ignores both the switch and the market-hours window: asking for it is clearer than a guess about when the data moves. It does still need the dealer walls switched on and at least one ticker in the list, because otherwise it would run and quietly do nothing.

Do you need anything else for the desktop app?

Almost certainly not. There are two ways to use it, and only one of them involves setup.

MOST PEOPLE As a viewer

Paint in Chrome, open the same layout in the desktop app. No token, no terminal, no install.

ADVANCED Driven directly

The tools/ scripts can paint the desktop app itself over a local bridge, which needs Node, git and the desktop token. For batch preloads and agent-driven charts.

Levels on a chart the extension cannot reach

A layout on a machine where you have installed nothing, or a chart you want to hand to somebody else. Vespryx Overlay By TraderMatrix covers both: you paste one line into it and it draws the same levels, in the same colours. It is a Pine study, so it cannot fetch. Every number arrives because you carried it there. One field, one line, no key, no editor.

ONE OR THE OTHER ON A LAYOUT, NOT BOTH Where the extension already paints a symbol, its drawings are on that layout on every device. Pasting the same symbol into the indicator too draws every level a second time, with a second label on top of the first, on the phone as well. Use the indicator for charts the extension does not reach; where it does, leave the paste box empty.

1 Add it onceA public script on TradingView, so there is nothing to download and nothing to be granted. Open the Indicators dialog, search for Vespryx Overlay By TraderMatrix, click it and it is on the chart. Published rather than a file you paste in, so you get every update instead of holding a copy that quietly falls behind.
2 Get your lineCopy levels in the Vespryx popup, or /td vespryx SPY in #vespryx-commands on Discord. Same string from the same two calls, so they cannot disagree with each other or with your chart. The Discord reply puts the line in a code block with its own copy button, which is the path that works on a machine with nothing installed on it.
3 Paste it inOpen the indicator’s settings and put it in the field called Paste from Vespryx. That is the only field you need to touch; the numbered inputs under it are a manual fallback for typing four levels in by hand, and are ignored when you paste.
4 Re-paste when you switch symbolThe line names its own ticker, so a line for the wrong symbol draws nothing at all rather than putting SPY’s levels on QQQ. It also stamps the moment it was taken, and the panel prints how old that is.

The line looks like this, and it is meant to be unreadable. It carries the ticker, the flip, the pin, each wall with its open interest, and the moment it was taken.

There is no glow, and there cannot be: the bloom needs a drawing layer, which Pine has no way to make. The study draws the crisp core of each level in the same colours, so the chart reads flatter. The regime card does not come with it either. What you do get, besides the levels: the gamma regime and what it does to a move, plus VOLUME and MOMENTUM, which the study works out from the bars in front of it.

If it draws nothing

Four states, and only the first is a mistake.

“Paste your levels from Vespryx”The field is still empty. Nothing was pasted, or the paste landed in one of the numbered inputs below it.

Levels, but no numbers on themThe line was copied from a signed-out session. Sign in, copy it again, and the open interest comes with it.

Nothing draws at allThe ticker in the line is not the ticker on the chart. It refuses rather than mispainting, which is the same rule the extension follows.

The age keeps climbingWorking as intended. The study has no way to fetch. Copy a fresh line when the number stops being one you would trade on.

Data & session

Where the numbers come from, and the one credential this extension deliberately does not have.

Vespryx · session Vespryx rides the session already in this browser. It never asks for, stores, or transmits an API key.

You almost certainly do not need the token. It is only for the tools/ scripts, which run outside Chrome and so cannot see the session this extension is already using. If you read your charts in Chrome, or you use the TradingView desktop app with Keep tickers dressed switched on, there is nothing to set up.

If you do need it, the guide walks it through in five steps and checks the ones it can. Treat the clipboard as sensitive until you have pasted it: these are your logged-in session tokens.

Restore defaults

Three overlays on, four levels a side, words for labels, the hourly repaint off.

This resets the settings only. Nothing already drawn on a chart is deleted, because a deleted drawing cannot be recovered. Use Remove drawn walls under On your chart for that.
